Barre Fit classes are designed to challenge you. Barre Fit combines dynamic pilates, ballet inspired fitness exercise, yoga, and some interval training which provide fast results. Improving strength, endurance, body toning, with an emphasis on core strength and posture. Barre Fit works the tiny supporting muscles to tighten your body, lift your behind and pull everything in. You will start to feel stronger and see a change in your body after as little as 3 classes.

Barre Beginners:
Barre beginners is the perfect class to start with if you're new to Barre! Targeting the arms, legs, butt and core - finished off with a nice stretch and restorative Savasana. All levels welcome.

Barre Fit:
Barre Fit combines dynamic pilates, ballet inspired fitness exercise, yoga and some interval training which provide fast results, in improving strength, endurance, overall body toning, with an emphasis on core strength and posture.

Pilates Mat:
Mat Pilates is an open level class that uses a variety of props to strengthen your whole body. It's low-impact, but a challenging class that will develop your strength and endurance.

Express Pilates Barre - High Intensity:
Express Pilates Barre is a high intensity workout that's done in 30 minutes! It's the ultimate workout for muscle conditioning, toning, trimming and calorie burning.

Hi, I'm Amy, I'm a mother of 3 young children, and a highly experienced Pilates Barre teacher, and the creator of Barre Fit. I have been practising Barre and Pilates for over 15 years. I fell in love with Barre after the birth of my first child, Cruz. After having Cruz, I started to incorporate Barre into my fitness routine, and noticed incredible results with very little effort almost straight away. I had gained my strength back, and toned and shaped my body in a way no other exercise ever had. It really is the most effective workout you’ll ever do!

  • Barre focuses on small, isometric movements that are based in ballet.

    The main differences between Pilates and barre is the amount of equipment and the extent to which the muscles are fatigued. The goal in Barre is to focus on small, intense movements that push muscles to the point of fatigue.

    Barre simply uses body weight, a barre, and mat, and sometimes an exercise ball, resistance bands and light weights, while Pilates ranges from just using light hand weights to apparatuses, such as a reformer or tower.

  • Cancellations and rescheduling classes need to be made more than 9 hours prior to your class with no exception. All late cancellations will incur a lost session.
